Four Colouring Books, One Idea: Your Feelings Deserve Room to Land
Most colouring books are made to fill time. These ones are made to do something with it.
Every PleaseNotes colouring book pairs its illustrations with an affirmation, a prompt or an activity, so the colouring turns into a small conversation, either with yourself or with a kid who has a lot going on inside. Each one is designed and printed in Canada on thick, smooth paper, with every page printed on one side only. Turns out that last detail matters more than you'd expect. Markers don't bleed through, journaling stays put, and finished artwork can go on the fridge without wrecking the page behind it.
There are four books in the family now. One is on the shelf today and three start shipping October 15. Here's the full tour.
The original: My Feelings Matter!
Big feelings deserve safe spaces. That's the idea behind the My Feelings Matter! Affirmation and Activity Colouring Book for Emotional Awareness, and every other book in this family grows from it.
Inside are 40 single-sided pages of affirmations, colouring pages, and guided drawing prompts, including 11 activity pages, made for kids ages 4 to 8. Each page gives a child something to colour and something to say out loud, and that's where the good stuff happens. A child picks a page that fits how they feel, or you pick one together. They read the affirmation, talk about what it means, and give the feeling a colour or draw what it looks like to them. You can share a time you felt it too.
What makes it special: the illustrations show children with different family structures, abilities and body types, so more kids see themselves on the page. The activities also introduce simple calming tools like deep breathing, stretching and counting, which gives kids something to reach for when a feeling gets big.
How families use it: as a quiet-time check-in before bed, as a sit-down conversation starter, or as an empathy builder during playdates and classroom time. It also pairs well with the Building Blocks Kids Affirmation Card Deck. Pull a card to set the tone, then pick a page that matches.
Ages 4 to 8. 8.5 x 11 inches. $18.95. Available now. Shop My Feelings Matter!
The Animal Kingdom Edition: wild friends for big feelings
Same heart as the original, brand new cast. The Animal Kingdom Edition puts a koala, a lion, an elephant and a toucan on the cover, with plenty more friends inside: a gentle panda, a wise owl, a bold rhino, a swordfish who's fast, a sloth going at its own pace and an axolotl staying true to itself.
You get 48 single-sided pages, with 37 illustrations and 11 activities. Every page pairs a gentle affirmation with either a big, joyful illustration or something to do. Roar It Out gives a lion a speech bubble to fill with something unique about you. My Strengths Safari asks for three things you're really good at, written or drawn. My Animal Pack hands you paw prints to fill with the people you want in your pack. I Can Be Like A... lets kids look at a turtle, an owl, a mouse, a goat, a panther and a koala, name the feeling each one brings to mind and decide when they'd want to feel that way.
What makes it special: the animals give feelings a face. Each friend models a different emotion, which gives kids a relatable way in when their own feelings are too big to name yet. A child who hasn't found the word for nervous can point at the koala and say that one.
Best for: kids who love animals, families who want activity pages alongside the colouring, and anyone setting up a calm-down corner at home or in a classroom.

The Bite-Sized Edition: small enough for a backpack
Small enough for a backpack. Big enough to matter. The Bite-Sized Edition brings the animal cast down to a 6 x 9 inch book with 20 single-sided illustrations, so it goes where your kid goes. The car. A waiting room. A diaper bag. Wherever the wait is.
There are no activities or worksheets in this one. It's pure colouring space, and every page still comes with an affirmation: penguins who are dependable, a fox who's clever, a bee who's important, a turtle building a future dream home who sets big goals, two hedgehogs who are cared for, a butterfly and caterpillar reminding kids it's okay to change, and a parrot who loves being me.
What makes it special: it keeps the same affirmation-led approach as the full-size books in a format that fits a five-minute wait. Pull it out, pick a page, read the affirmation together and ask what it means to them. A quick check-in wherever you happen to be can be impactful.
Best for: road trips and flights, appointment waiting rooms, stocking stuffers, party favours and travel gift bags. It also makes a lighter, budget-friendly companion to a full-size book.
Ages 4 to 8. 6 x 9 inches. $11.95. Buy Now
Manifest With Me: a guided workbook for grown-ups
Your future self is waiting. Time to meet her. Manifest With Me: A Guided Colouring and Journaling Workbook is the adult book in the family, built to help you get clear on what you want, build real belief in it and take the action that makes it happen.
The book holds 24 guided spreads across 76 single-sided pages. On the left page you'll find a short piece of writing, an affirmation and a journal prompt with room to answer. On the right sits an illustration to colour. The scenes come from everyday life instead of abstract symbols: a woman soaking in a bubble bath with a glass of wine, another strolling a cobblestone street in sunglasses, two friends on a rooftop under a crescent moon, a bank counter where a deposit gets made, a This Year's Focus board covered in sticky notes. The spreads carry titles like What I Used to Apologize For, and the people on the pages vary in hair, style and personality.
Eight sections walk you through the whole arc: Setting the Intention, Clarity, Belief, Alignment, Release, Action, Gratitude and Sealing It In. Start at the beginning or jump to the one that matches where you are today. Most people would spend 10 to 20 minutes on a spread, and there's no timer.
What makes it special: it sits between a blank journal and a rigid planner. The prompts give reflection some structure, and the colouring keeps the whole thing calm and creative. This isn't a book you read once and shelve. It's a practice, and people return to it each time they set a new intention or start a new season. It isn't a religious or spiritual book either, so bring whatever lens feels right to you. No journaling or manifestation experience required.
How to use it: open to your current section in the morning and sit with the affirmation before your day gets busy. Once a week, revisit a finished spread and notice what's shifted since you wrote it. Start a fresh section whenever a new chapter begins.
Best for: anyone starting a new year, a birthday or a fresh chapter, friends who love journaling or vision boards, and a thoughtful self-development gift for yourself. Thick, smooth paper holds up to markers or pens.
For adults. 8.5 x 11 inches. $18.95. Buy Now
