And then, somehow, life happened. One day, it all stopped, and neither of you realized it would be the last time. That’s the thing about goodbyes—you don’t always get a warning. Looking back, I wish I’d held on to those moments a little tighter. It’s a reminder to appreciate the people around us today because tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

Grateful for the Little Things

Lately, I’ve been trying to be more intentional about being grateful for the people in my life. I started jotting down thankful examples in a notebook, like a conversation with a friend that brightened my day or an unexpected call from a family member.
